Leafing through our guest book earlier today I learnt that the two Honeymoon couples recently staying with us here at The Walton enjoyed their stay a lot. It’s brilliant to know that couples looking for accommodation for such a special holiday choose our guest house and have a lovely time.
Another rather special occasion is coming up, not only for newly-weds: In a little more than 2 weeks it’s Valentine’s Day. If you’re looking to treat your partner to a city break in one of the most beautiful European capitals Edinburgh will be one of your first choices…The city offers stunning architectural and natural beauty, a long and interesting history to immerse yourselves in, and plenty of romantic restaurants for dinner on the 14th February.
Here at The Walton, in the heart of Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town we offer the kind of friendly and personalised service which is so important for a day like Valentine’s Day:
We usually serve breakfast from 8.00-9.00 during the week and from 8.30-9.30 on weekends. However, we also offer our guests the option to choose a later “Continental Breakfast in Bed”, from 9.00/9.30 until 12 noon every day.
In addition, if you’re coming to stay for a special occasion we are able to organise some Champagne, flowers or chocolate for your room to surprise your partner upon arrival. This service incurs a small charge, but is very personalised – speak to us at the time of booking your room and we can discuss the details of how you would like your surprise to be arranged.
