Parking

The Walton Guesthouse is located in central Edinburgh and is ideally situated for anyone wanting to stay in the city centre. We are only 10 minutes walk from Princes St, the main street for shopping in Edinburgh. Restaurants, shops, galleries, and cafes are abundant in this area as are numerous bars, clubs, and lounges for those interested in a night out in Edinburgh City.

The Walton offers guests travelling by car free on-site parking – spaces are limited to 7 cars on a first come first serve basis.  Due to restrictions we can not reserve car parking in advance.  Keys need to be kept at reception to ensure no cars are blocked during the day – please be advised if you do not wish to leave keys at reception you will need to park on the street.  Cars and contents are left at owners risk as Walton Hotel takes absolute no responsibility.

Please note that the is NO private parking at The Walton for any apartment bookings

From Waverley Train Station Edinburgh and St Andrews Bus Station the walk to the Walton takes about 10 minutes. The journey from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh City Centre takes approximately 25 minutes by taxi or bus. Guests needing transport from Glasgow Airport to the Edinburgh Walton Hotel. The Airlink Bus takes you from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre.
