…. that Edinburgh used to have its own ‘Loch’? A ten-minute walk away from where we are on Dundas Street today (and where this building has been since the 1840s!) was the Nor Loch. It had to give way to Princes Street Gardens, when these were created during the first half of the 19^th century.
