All though November has much to offer still, it also means that Christmas is only a month away!! In Edinburgh the winter season officially starts on the 29th of November, with Light Night. This night at 5pm the Norwegian Christmas tree will be lit on the Mound, The Christmas lights on Princess street and in the Gardens will be lit and from this day on, the Winter festival is a fact! Watch some dazzling fireworks and a ‘surprise’ spectacular set to music, which in previous years has included a French aerial trapeze troupe and a fourteen metre high snow queen. The big button should be pressed just before 6pm.
